Liam Kaufman

Liam Kaufman is the Co-Founder and CEO of WinterLight Labs, a Toronto-based company building technology that can quickly and accurately detect signs of cognitive impairment from a sample of speech. The technology can detect the presence of Alzheimer’s Disease with 92% accuracy and aphasia with 100% accuracy. Their team of experts specializes in computational linguistics, cognitive neuroscience, and machine learning. Prior to starting WinterLight, Liam also founded, a web-based application that allowed confused students to click “confused” during class, allowing educators and professors to make classes more engaging.
